About the role
This internship is for M.Com graduates with little or no work experience. You work alongside the SMEClabs team on the accounting and finance work a company runs on, and build the experience employers ask for in accounts roles.
What you will do
- Keep accounts and record entries, including in accounting software.
- Help prepare financial statements.
- Support audits, and look for cost savings.
- Learn how a finance team supports decisions such as raising capital.
What you need
- An M.Com degree. Freshers are welcome.
After the internship
Interns who complete the internship are considered for roles with SMEClabs and its associate companies. M.Com graduates go on to work as assistant accountants, accountants, senior account executives, cashiers, auditors, personal finance consultants and business consultants.
About SMEClabs
SMEClabs is the research and training division of SMEC Automation Pvt Ltd, an industrial and marine service company working in India since 2001. It trains students and working professionals at its centres in Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut and Nagercoil, and online.
