Nature of Placement Assistance

Disclaimer: SMEC Labs provides 100% Placement Assistance to eligible candidates. However, this assistance does not constitute a legal guarantee or warranty of employment. Securing an offer depends entirely on the candidate’s performance during the recruitment process.

To be eligible for placement assistance through the Campus Placements cell, candidates must satisfy the following conditions strictly:

1. 1. Course Completion: Candidates must have successfully completed all modules of their enrolled program at SMEC Labs.

1. 1. Attendance Requirement: A minimum attendance record of 80% to 90% is mandatory across all theoretical and practical sessions.

1. 1. Assessments: Candidates must clear all internal assessments, mock interviews, and technical evaluations prescribed by the faculty.

1. Clearance: All outstanding fee dues must be cleared prior to registering for placement drives.

Only those who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to register with SMECJobs and receive updates and notifications about future job vacancies.

Placement Preparatory Clearance

Candidates must attend in mock interviews and preparatory sessions as part of the placement preparatory clearance before registering for SMECJobs Placement Services.

CV Submission

After finishing the course and placement preparatory sessions, candidates are required to update their CVs and register with SMECJobs Placement Services.

The CV format must receive approval from the Placement Department.

Opportunity Notifications

Registered candidates will receive alerts regarding available job opportunities, and a response is required from them to facilitate the placement support process. Candidates who do not respond to notifications for over three months will be removed from the placement notification list.

Application Process

Applicants can submit their applications for openings related to the Industrial program. Be sure to carefully review the job description before applying.

Interview Attendance

Candidates who are shortlisted are required to confirm their attendance for the scheduled interviews. It is essential that candidates attend these interviews as planned. Not attending without prior notification will lead to being blacklisted for any future placement assistance.

Candidates selected during the interview process must inform SMEClabs and present their Offer Letter. To finalize their employment, they are also required to submit a testimonial review regarding the Placement Services they received.

If you receive an Offer Letter and fail to join the organization without prior notification or a valid reason, you will be blacklisted for future placement assistance.

Any wrongdoing during the student placement phase will result in blacklisting and the withdrawal of future placement support.

SMEClabs organizes interviews with client companies or affiliated businesses. However, SMEClabs does not provide any guarantees regarding placement based on period, location, package or company.

100 % placement support can be provided only for candidates who have undergone BE/B.Tech/M.Tech or Diploma or Degree in relevant technical background (All BCA , MCA, BSc CS, MSc CS, BSc Electronics, Statistics) as most of the client companies prefer the mentioned qualification background. If selected, candidates must inform SMEClabs and share appointment letters. Registration is valid for two years from the date of registration.

SMEClabs does not impose any extra charges for placement services. Should any SMEClabs employees or external parties request payment, please report it to training@smeclabs.org or call +919072997555. SMEClabs will not be liable for any payments made by candidates in such cases.

Candidates must refrain from sharing information about job vacancies or company details with outside parties. Any breach of this policy will lead to blacklisting and the termination of placement services.

Should a candidate be chosen through SMEClabs Placement Services, they will be exclusively employed by the hiring organization. SMEClabs will not be held accountable for any legal issues or disputes that may arise between the candidate and the employer company.

The terms and conditions for placements mentioned above are specific to SMEClabs. SMEClabs is not liable for any other commitments made by its employer companies regarding placements.
