About the role
This internship is for B.Com graduates who want their first role in accounts. You learn accounting and computerised accounting on real work, alongside the SMEClabs team.
What you will do
- Help prepare financial statements.
- Take part in audits.
- Look for cost savings.
- Assist with work on raising capital, and on mergers and acquisitions.
- Record entries in accounting software.
What you need
- A B.Com degree. Freshers are welcome.
After the internship
Interns who complete the internship are considered for roles with SMEClabs and its associate companies. B.Com graduates start as junior accountants, accounts assistants and junior associates.
About SMEClabs
SMEClabs is the research and training division of SMEC Automation Pvt Ltd, an industrial and marine service company working in India since 2001. It trains students and working professionals at its centres in Kochi, Trivandrum, Calicut and Nagercoil, and online.
